There are many, many beautiful possibilities in our region to enjoy the summer. Gladly I am available for further information personally.
An especially adventure is a sailing tour on my yacht "Aragon": Information you will find at www.segeln-traunsee.at .
Only a few 100 m, in the near of my apartments and you are at the bottom of mountain Grünberg (1004 m - family friendly with a lot of attractions).
You have 2 opportunities. On the one hand you can go by new cable car or casual afoot. At the top there is a tavern with good home cooking.
It is a recreational area and has 20 km good fully developed hiking paths and mountainbike routes.
You are able to walk further to the lake Laudachsee (tavern Ramsau) and if you have enough power you can climb up the Katzenstein (1350 m).
Very beautiful is to go a circular track, away from the apartments to Höhenweg (superb view to the lake) - Grünbergwirt - back along the lake. Duration about 2 hours.
Hikings are possible to the Gmundnerberg (884m), Kleiner Schönberg (895m) oder Vorderen (920m) bzw. Hinteren Sonnstein (1040m).
Not exhausting and beautiful: you park at the end of Traunsteinstrasse. Next you can go to Kaltenbachwildnis, Mairalm or Miesweg (a way direct beside the lake).
Hiking at the Erlakogel (1.575m), Hochlecken (1691 m) , Feuerkogel (1.592m cable car as option) or climbing up the Traunstein (1.691m) is more tough.
The real rock climber find a lot of steep faces, for example the "Adlerhorst" on Traunstein is one if them.
A famous organization is the Bergmarathon. The participant have to climb up and down from all mountains around the lake (length 70 km, 4500 metres in height).
